EPA Flex Engine
TPEM engine is fully compliant with regulations that ensures lowest possible acquisitions cost and ease of operation in a dependable, field-proven design.
Auxiliary Excitation
The Auxiliary Winding Excitation is the most trusted form of alternate excitation. The AVR power supply voltage comes from two independent auxiliary windings located in the main stator:
● The voltage delivered by the first auxiliary winding H1 is proportional to the alternator output voltage (shunt characteristic).
● The voltage delivered by the second auxiliary winding H3 is proportional to the current drawn by the alternator and is a function of the applied load compound characteristic – booster effect).
● High overload capacity (load impact or starting electric motors) which can short-circuit (270% - 5 s)
● The alternator with AREP excitation is shorter than the one with PMG excitation. It is particularly suitable for demanding applications.
● Improves performance of SHUNT system
● +/– 30% voltage dip

True double-walled tank with 110% fluid containment with over-sized 175-gallon capacity. Eco-friendly, electronic fuel level sender, externally accessible lockable fuel fill, mechanical fuel level gauge, low level switch, leak detection switch, atmospheric vent, and fuel filler mesh.

Auxiliary Excitation
It is an extension at the non-drive end of the alternator to produce constant power for the AVR. By placing this magnetic generator, we guarantee a constant input of power for the AVR that otherwise would not be possible with a self-excited system. This excitation method is commonly used for applications with high performance requirements for motor starting, selective coordination and non-linear loads.- High overload capacity (load impact or starting electric motors) which can short-circuit (300% - 10 s)

Field Dragging Kit
This upgrade can be added as an accessory to the standard double wall tank. The dragging kit allows the operator to seamlessly move the generator set in the field with a bulldozer, backhoe loader, or any heavy-duty moving equipment, without the need of a crane. The slope design eases friction and allows for effortless dragging.
Performance Kit
This kit is composed of:
- Automatic battery charger: Prevents your battery from draining if generator is not operated for a prolonged period of time
- Automatic coolant heater: In extremely cold temperatures, the coolant heater will allow for easier and faster start-up time
- Racor water/fuel separator: this additional water/oil separator will filter up to 99% of water that is condensed in the fuel tank
- Shore Power Connector: Independent externally mounted quick-connector provides convenient access to power for the battery charger and coolant heater
Paralleling Kit
For generator synchronization and load sharing, commonly referred to as “paralleling”, a more advance and specialized Deep Sea controller is utilized. The highly configurable and user-friendly DSE8610 MKII, coupled with an ABB motorized breaker, will allow the synchronization of up to 32 individual generators.
